Joe & Hana are an awesome couple.  They met at the most inconvenient time, just a week before Hana was moving from Illinois to California.  Although it wasn’t ideal, they made it work and spent as much time together as possible while being across the country.  Joe and Hana just make sense together.  They share constant laughter and smiles together and can’t help but kiss any moment they can.  In addition to their wedding day photos, I also met up with Joe and Hana the next day for more casual photos.  They were so easy to photograph because of their natural giddiness with each other. Joe & Hana were married on August 21 which was a Friday. They had a later ceremony at Grace Church in Mahomet, IL followed by a crazy, fun reception at the Hawthorne Suites in Champaign, IL.  Rather than having a formal sit down dinner, Joe & Hana opted for a dessert reception.  And when I say dessert… I mean every type of dessert you can think of!  Darija (my second shooter) and I couldn’t help but make multiple trips to the chocolate fondue station.  In addition to the desserts, the reception was filled with dancing!  As usual, Crash Events (Ryan Reid) had the dance floor hopping from the minute it was open.  Their dance floor was filled with crazy moves, rainbow glowsticks and selfie stick photos and recordings. I am so happy I was able to meet this couple and photograph their special day. Thank you again to Ryan Reid for recommending me!
