Austin and Allison’s wedding was about as personal as they come for me.  Allison has been an employee of my parents for several years and is close to my entire family. When she met Austin, we all knew that this was something very special.

Austin and Allison went to Cocomero for their first date.  To this day, they still joke about how he got the flavor she did but actually hated it! The frozen yogurt flavor must have been the only thing he hated because six months after their date, Austin proposed to Allison. The proposal was completely unexpected but welcomed with so much excitement.

Almost exactly a year after their engagement, Austin and Allison were married at the Hawthorne Suites in Champaign. Allison’s main man prior to Austin, her dog Theo, was the ring bearer in their wedding. He wore little cuffs and a bow tie and took his job very seriously… that is until he spotted Austin at the end of the aisle and wanted to join him on the stage!

Although I had many favorite moments from the day, the first dance Austin and Allison shared as a married couple took the win.  Despite a room full of people watching, they were completely wrapped up in a moment with each other.  It was one of the sweetest dances I have ever seen and I am so happy it was theirs.

Rather than leaving at our typical time, John and I were able to join our family and friends in the celebration.  As always, Dan from Bugbee DJ Plus kept the dance floor popping and everyone had a wonderful time. My family and I couldn’t be happier that Allison and Austin found each other and are very excited to have him officially part of the group!
