He proposed on Christmas Day underneath the Christmas Tree… it was just Matt and Savanna, in their home celebrating together. He knew Christmas was her absolute favorite but wanted to give her another reason to love it. Matt had met Savanna through her cousin around two years prior to proposing to her. Matt and her cousin were very close friends when he met Savanna which helped him to instantly connect with her.

In addition to celeberating their engagement, Matt and Savanna have also spent the year cheering on their favorite team.  As big time Cubs fans, the Cubs winning the world series was huge for them!  With that being said, it was a neccesity to include Cubs attire in their session. Matt is also a big hat collector so it gave him a chance to bring out another favorite of his.  These two have many more celebrations to come including their first holiday season as an engaged couple and then their wedding in the Spring!
