I approach every wedding day with the same excitement, gratitude, and sense of purpose that I felt from the very start.
If you’re familiar with my blog, you know there are always couples and weddings posted. What you may not know is throughout the year I still photograph a handful of other things. This year, I hosted two days of mini sessions (against ivy wall, apologizing ahead of time for the amount with ivy backgrounds). In those two days alone, I photographed more babies and fur babies than I have in years. It was so much fun (and challenging) for me to step outside of my comfortable realm of couples and work with families, seniors, bloggers, children and more.
Side note, I think I could have composed an entire blog solely on photos of dogs from sessions this year.
So much spunk from this little cutie and her brother.Shout out to the world’s cutest dog, Tucker! Kyle and Julianne.. there’s still time to add him to your wedding party right?? One of the most nerve wrecking but amazing things to photograph… a proposal! **I should have mentioned fur babies also include an 18lb kitty cat named Purray.Boomer and Butter are regulars of mine… from their parents engagement, their dad’s wedding gift, fall pictures and Christmas wreaths… I think it’s safe to say they’re my favorite pair of pups to photograph. These two images are my favorite from my trip to South Africa. A boy and his grandpa. Bonnie and Gary, the funniest pair of pups I have ever photographed. Little Miss Vera just absolutely melts me.This year, I photographed the last of these four’s senior photos. I have taken every single one of them and this year we finished with family photos as well!
