Capturing pure joy and love is what I'm all about. It's often said from couples that I truly photograph "who they are".
I am a complete sucker for love. I am obsessed with 'how they asked' stories. Those details put meaning behind the images I take. I want the photographs that I take to be ones you show your grandchildren 50+ years from now and say, "look how in love we were!".
Although I have photographed 350+ weddings, there isn't a single one that I'm not completely touched by. Whether it's the flower girl twirling in her dress, the groom messing with his suit jacket nervously as he stands waiting for his bride or the bride's grandparents slow dancing at the reception; those moments will forever get me. I leave each wedding overwhelmed with joy from what I witnessed and excited to experience it all over again at the next wedding.
And guess what, I want document those little special moments that make your wedding YOUR wedding. Prior to your day, we'll get to know each other and go over everything in close detail to where when I arrive on your wedding day, all you feel is 'ahhhh she's here!!' and ready to capture my day!

WHAT TO EXPECT
So what's next? If you've received this information, you are in the process of finding the perfect wedding photographer for your day. If you're enjoying what you see and think maybe that photographer is me, the next step is for us to go over all things YOUR wedding and get to know each other! Let's get together for a cup of coffee/drink or schedule a virtual meeting. We will talk in greater detail about your wedding and walk through all parts of it and what it would be like to have me around to document it.
After our call, you'll receive a contract and have the ability to fill that contract out and make a 25% deposit to officially make me your wedding photographer! From there, the fun begins.
In the months leading up to your wedding, we'll schedule a complimentary engagement session (read more about that below). We'll communicate about your 'must's' and the things that matter most to you about your wedding day. I will send over a questionnaire to get all kinds of little details to prep. We will communicate plenty throughout your planning to make sure that on your wedding day all you have to do is enjoy yourself and trust me to document all of your joy!!

engagement sessions
Engagement sessions are my absolute favorite. These photos are an opportunity to really capture who you two are as a couple.
Whether it's you two hand in hand laughing in front of fall trees or an in-home session featuring your favorite fur babies.. I want to incorporate the 'you' in your photos.
So brainstorm, figure out what you have in mind for your session and we'll go from there. Think about what you love to do as a couple, your favorite beverages, places of significance, etc.
Your engagement session is also a great way to learn how you interact in front of the camera. It's an opportunity to get comfortable and find your favorite poses prior to your special day!
Engagement sessions may be subject to travel fees if located outside of Chicago proper ($75 for Northwest Suburbs)
